The brothers of the Beta Iota Chapter welcomed back their alumni October 30-31 for FSU's Homecoming weekend. The largest class of alumni to return were the Founding Fathers of 2003. Andy Macak (Founding President, 2003), Matt Ives, and Mitch Borley all returned to enjoy the festivities taking time off from their tours with the military. All three have served tours in Iraq. All alumni who returned thoroughly enjoyed themselves and look forward to the next alumni event at Beta Iota. Adam "Keebler" Jaffe and is wife, Dara, were quoted as saying "we live in Miami Beach, but we really miss Tallahassee." All alumni enjoyed re-living their glory years of college, enjoying the Homecoming parade at local favorite Potbelly's, a welcome home party at the Beta Iota Chapter House, and the usual tailgating before the football game where the 'Noles came away victorious over NC State 45-42. If you were unable to come for Homecoming, we truly missed you, however, it will not be the last opportunity to stop by for an alumni event. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
